Jeffrey Weiss Named Chief Operating Officer of Digital Color International

AKRON, OH, June 17, 2013 – Jeffrey Weiss has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer for Akron, OH-based marketing solutions provider Digital Color International (DCI). Weiss assumes overall operational and financial responsibility of DCI’s core business and is tasked with executing the company’s aggressive growth strategy. Weiss will report to President and CEO Christopher Che.

“Jeff’s proven track record of expertise in lean manufacturing, quality processes and operational excellence is a welcome addition to DCI,” said Che. “Jeff has a high level of executive skill and his appointment as the COO of DCI supports our overall strategy to strengthen, develop and grow our team to meet our benchmarks for the next five years.”

Weiss, who is relocating to Northeast Ohio from Dallas, Texas, has held various leadership positions including Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology for Xpressdocs (Fort Worth, Texas) and Vice President of Technology for Merrill Communications (St Paul, MN).

Weiss brings more than 25 years of operations, technology and executive-level management experience to his new role at DCI. He also brings vast experience in all aspects of commercial and digital print. Weiss graduated from American InterContinental University with an MIT in information technology and ecommerce security and an MBA in management. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Management, also from American InterContinental University.

Cincinnati-based Che International Group, LLC recently announced its acquisition of Akron, OH-based Digital Color Imaging, Inc. Digital Color Imaging is a digital and wide format printing company that provides fully integrated marketing solutions.
