Jim Hoffman has been appointed as VP of Sales and Marketing for Digital Color International (DCI). Hoffman assumes responsibility of DCI’s six-person sales team and is charged with developing and executing the company’s aggressive sales and growth strategy.
Hoffman will report to Dave Welner, DCI’s senior vice president of corporate development. “We are excited to have Jim as a member of our team,” said Welner. “As DCI grows its executive team, it’s important to add the skills, talents and proven results that Jim brings to our company.”
Hoffman’s past positions include Sales Executive of the Central Region at Vertis Communications (Baltimore, Maryland), Vice President of Digital Solutions at Miami Systems (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Director of Digital Sales at Workflow One (Dayton, Ohio).
“I came to Digital Color International because of the existing tools and talent that the organization has, but, most importantly, the vision the company has for where it’s going,” said Hoffman. “I am looking forward to fulfilling my primary mission, which is to help DCI achieve unprecedented levels of growth and momentum as we move forward.”
When asked how he plans to help propel DCI forward, Hoffman replied, “The sales team will lead the way for this growth by focusing on integrity, respect, embracing continuous improvement and accountability to our internal and external customers.”
Hoffman brings more than 25 years of sales, marketing and executive-level management experience to his new role at DCI. He also brings vast experience in digital printing and commercial print and mailing. Hoffman graduated from Indiana State University with a B.S. in marketing.
